How do I get an invitation?

Submit your player information through our Request an Invitation form, or ask your coach to nominate you on our Nomination Board. All requests and nominations are reviewed by our selection committee, made up of current and former college, high school, and club coaches. Spots are limited and not every request will result in an invitation.

The selection committee invites the top players in the state, regardless of classification (6A through 1A). Most invitees are seniors and juniors, with limited spots for exceptional sophomores. Players from all regions of Utah are considered.

Is there a registration fee?

Yes. This is a premium event with significant costs including venue rental, professional streaming, custom jerseys, BAM Combine testing, and college coach packages. Registration fees offset these expenses. For most players, the exposure and evaluation they receive at the Elite League exceeds what they'd get during an entire AAU summer season.

Is there an admission fee for spectators?

No. All Utah Top 50 events are free admission for spectators. Always. Bring your family, friends, and supporters at no cost.

Where can I watch games?

Every game is filmed and streamed live by Utah Top 50 — free for anyone to watch, and archived permanently on YouTube. We produce all of our own content in-house, so streaming links live alongside each player's data on the T50 Player Intelligence Platform.

What if I don't get invited to the Elite League?

Players who don't receive an Elite League invitation are encouraged to attend the Utah Top 50 NXT Camp (October 1–3). NXT is designed for players who are on the cusp of the top 50 — and top NXT performers earn consideration for future Elite League invitations.

The Event

The Utah Top 50 Elite League is the premier pre-season basketball event for high school athletes in Utah. This invitation-only event brings together the top 50 boys and top 50 girls basketball players in the state for a condensed 3-day format — 6 guaranteed games against peers at their level, in front of every attending coach, with every possession filmed and streamed live.

The Elite League is a condensed 3-day format with 6 guaranteed games. We made this change for the players. The previous model — games spread across six or seven weeks — created real conflicts. Players had school, high school open gyms, club obligations, jobs, and family commitments. Missing a week meant missing exposure. The 3-day format means every invited player plays all 6 games, in front of every coach, with no scheduling conflicts and no gaps in their film. One concentrated weekend of elite competition. Nobody misses out.

What is the T50 Score?

A 0–100 rating you earn on the floor.

The T50 Score is Utah Top 50's 0–100 composite player rating. Every player evaluated at a Utah Top 50 event receives one. It's built from six categories — scoring, playmaking, defense, athleticism, basketball IQ, and intangibles — scored by our coaching staff, then combined with verified physical testing data and performance stats. It isn't a subjective ranking or an opinion. It's a transparent, data-backed score you earn on the floor, and it lives permanently on your T50 Player Intelligence Platform profile.

How to Get Invited

The Utah Top 50 Elite League is invitation-only. Invitations are determined by our selection committee — a group of current and former college, high school, and club coaches who evaluate players based on skill, competitive readiness, and potential. There are two ways to be considered:

Request an Invitation — Submit your player information through our website. Every request is reviewed by the selection committee.
Coach Nomination — Have your high school coach, club coach, or trainer nominate you through our Nomination Board. Coach nominations carry significant weight in the selection process.
